Con lo scopo di controllare la crescita della popolazione in determinati reami di WoW Classic, Blizzard ha annunciato alcune nuove restrizioni per i trasferimenti di reame per i personaggi. Di conseguenza, non sarà possibile selezionare come destinazione di trasferimento del proprio personaggio uno dei reami indicati.
Attualmente, i principali reami designati dalla comunità italiana non sono stati affetti.
