L’apertura degli eventi legati ad Ahn’qiraji, avvenuta il 29 luglio, è culminata il 5 agosto alle 20:17 con la First Kill europea ad opera della Gilda Progress sul server Firemaw.
Prima di questo evento moltissimi giocatori hanno combattuto a Silithus nel tentativo di riparare lo Scepter of the Shifting Sands e riuscire così a suonare il famosissimo gong posto fuori dalla fortezza-prigione del Dio Antico. In questo modo i giocatori hanno potuto ottenere la cavalcatura unica Black Qiraji Resonating Crystal.
L’apertura dei Cancelli, la Guerra delle 10 ore e la successiva sconfitta di C’Thun ripercorrono in tutto e per tutto gli eventi avvenuti 15 anni fa, ma questa volta senza spiacevoli crash dei server. Complimenti ai Progress e a tutti i giocatori che hanno partecipato ad uno degli eventi più iconici della versione vanilla di World of Warcraft.
Earlier today, we watched as players on four realms in this region completed the Scepter of the Shifting Sands questline, went to Silithus along with hundreds of others, and rang the gong, starting the 10 Hour War.
